Eric Philips / Business Analyst, Client Service Representative

Eric earned a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Economics from Auburn University.  While at Auburn, he was a guest on The Stossel Show (Fox News and Fox Business) and was featured on the front page of the college section for USA Today, for bringing awareness to the national debt by participating in the creation of a “debt clock,” that was displayed on the Auburn main concourse, and was later recreated by dozens of universities across the nation.

Eric passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams, and fulfilled the requirements for licenses to sell Life, Accident, and Sickness insurance and Variable Product.  Prior to joining LCA, Eric’s financial service experiences included working as a financial advisor at Edward Jones where he received The Triple Crown Award, a brokerage associate at Wells Fargo Advisors, and a client service associate at JOYN.

Eric was a member of the drumline of one of the nation’s top award- winning high school bands, Lassiter (Marietta, Georgia) High School Marching Trojan Band, and later was in the Auburn University Drumline.  He now plays lead guitar for the praise and worship band at his church and facilitates Financial Peace University classes.  He is also an avid mountain biker.
